Class of 2026

Graduation is a formal event honoring the achievements of our seniors. To ensure a respectful, safe, and memorable experience, all participants and guests must follow the guidelines below.
Seniors - If you do not plan on participating in the graduation ceremony, contact Ms. Greene in the Counseling office a.s.a.p. (360) 874.5629 | greene@skschools.org

Graduation Tickets

Wolf logo and 2 tickets
The Commencement Ceremony is a ticketed event and is not open to the public. Each Graduate will be issued as many tickets as they need for their family and friends for free.  (Infants 4 and under do not need a ticket).

Tickets will be available for pick up by graduates only June 1st - 5th from the Counseling office. Only student graduates, with student or other photo ID, may collect tickets; we do not release them to family or friends.

Pick up during lunches, before school 7:00-7:15am, or after school 2:00-2:15pm. Full-time Running Start & PSNS students: please come during SK lunches if possible, or plan to pick up at Rehearsal on Friday June 5th.

Tickets will be released once all property that belongs to SKSD is returned and/or any outstanding fees have been paid at ASB. IF you had a pink card for unmet grad requirements, it must be signed by your counselor as cleared to graduate (including completing your High School & Beyond Plan).

Graduation Status

If your parent/guardian received an Academic Concern email; it means your graduation status is in question, as you had a C- or lower in a class you need to pass to graduate.

If you are concerned about your graduation status follow these steps:
First, check the list in the main hall to see if your student number is listed as having a pink card. If your number is on the list, then:
1. Pick up a pink graduation clearance card from your counselor.
2. Your pink card must be signed by both your teacher(s) and counselor once it is certain you will pass the class(es) listed.
3. Bring signed pink card to the Counseling office to collect grad tickets.

Return school property

Search your house, bedroom & clean out your locker! Return all books, textbooks, novels, Chromebooks + chargers, equipment, PE locks, uniforms and any other technology or property that belongs to South Kitsap School District by the end of the day on Thursday, June 4th. *Personal items left in lockers will be donated*

Graduation Rehearsal

Walk of the Grads!

Graduate students with school busses in the background
Following rehearsal graduates are bussed to the middle schools to participate in the Walk of the Graduates. While this is not a mandatory part of rehearsal, it is a fun and rewarding experience! The middle schools plan for and look forward to welcoming former Generals, Rain Devils and Trailblazers back to celebrate your hard work and accomplishments!

If you did not attend a middle school in SK, you are welcome to join your friends and enjoy this great tradition.

Students will return to campus around 11:00 a.m.

Official Diploma

You do not receive your diploma at the Graduation Ceremony.

Diplomas will be available for graduates to pick up at the ASB office from mid-July.
The window is open from 9 am to 2 pm, M-F. Diplomas must be picked up by the graduate; photo ID (student ID card, state ID, drivers license, etc.) is required.

If the graduate cannot visit during open hours, please email SKHSRegistrar@skschools.org for assistance.

We hold diplomas at the high school indefinitely.

NOTES:
  • Diplomas are available for pick up from mid-July.
  • Diplomas are not sent in the mail.
  • The Diploma is considered a ceremonial document only, meant for display. It does not list your GPA, or courses. Employers, colleges and the military almost always require an official transcript, not the diploma, to verify educational background.
